Newsletter and Website Design

As part of a school project, collaborated with a team to design and develop a website for Ichika, a Japanese brand specializing in traditional Japanese sweets with a modern twist. This site was built to introduce daifuku (fruit-filled mochi) to a Canadian audience, emphasizing the brand’s values of authenticity, elegance, and seasonality.

My role involved
• Developing brand storytelling and copy for seasonal campaigns
• Optimizing content for SEO using long-tail keywords (e.g., “fresh strawberry mochi,” “Japanese dessert Vancouver”)
• Creating newsletter and landing page mockups to support promotional efforts
• Collaborating on layout design and user flow for improved customer experience

This project not only reflects my skills in digital content creation and UX strategy, but also my ability to localize cultural concepts for global markets.
